H. Ross Productions, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Heather Ross

Heather Ross - Writer, Humanitarian, Musician

Heather Ross is an avid humanitarian, with an extensive background in commercial real estate, managing million plus square foot high rises in Los Angeles and teams of over 150 people in 12 departments.  Having left that industry in 2001 to pursue her dream of freelance writing, business development and nonprofit fundraising, Heather formed H. Ross Productions, Inc. and went on to become a business consultant, published author and raise over 1.5 million dollars for charitable causes.

In 2003, Heather founded Peace Beads, a project employing American Indians in Montana and Canada, and raising funds for various nonprofit foundations that share the project’s humanitarian mission. This project eventually lead Heather to partner with the United Nations Association where she is able to foster her goal of raising awareness about the UN Millennium Development Goals.

In 2006, Heather formed a full-service company representing key properties to the film industry. She is also a film reviewer and active member of Motion Picture Association of America. In addition, she currently chairs two major annual fundraising events: Hope For Firefighters and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles’ Walk For Wishes.

Another of Heather’s passions is her cello.  After playing with the University of Arizona Opera Company at age 15, Heather went on to become principal cellist with the Claremont Colleges Chamber Orchestra.  Along with writing, playing cello is another creative outlet that allows Heather the ability to balance her creative side with her entrepreneurial pursuits.

Ms. Ross lives in Manhattan Beach, California.
